Hope everyone’s ready for a proper English breakfast! According to Wikipedia, which is always right ;), those sausages were called bangers because they were made with water (unlike modern sausages) and thus were more likely to explode under high heat if not cooked right. Hmm, you learn something everyday!
We have for you a banger that will be sure to make your head explode. “Where Did Everybody Go?” by Grimblee. If you take a gander around Grimblee’s SoundCloud, you’ll notice that all of his tracks are high quality dubstep, or sometimes “grimstep.” Either way, it is worth your time to explore his library, especially for dubstep fans. This particular track though, is so nasty its called “!#*(%*#@STEP!”
Whether you like your potatoes baked, french fried, au gratin, hashed, or mashed, no meal is complete without everyone’s favorite startch!
By now, everyone should be familiar with Mashup-Germany, aka Ben Stilller. He’s been putting out some sick mashups over the past couple of years, and even has accompanying mashed up videos too. His newest tracks are below, and while they are mashups, they are bangers in their own right too!
The first one is “Rhythm is Kuduro’s Saxobeat” a little bit different than what we’re used to from Mashup-Germany. This one uses some Reggaton jams, where he usually sticks to mainstream stuff. I love that he uses one of the original eurodance track “Rhythm is a Dancer,” it just seems to fit perfectly.
Don Omar feat Lucenzo – Danza Kuduro
Snap – Rhythm is a Dancer
Alexandra Stan – Mr. Saxobeat
O-Zone – Dragostie Din Tei (sorry, had to)
Flo-Rida – Right Round
The other track is “Ante Up to the Other Side,” and it’s just plain fun. Anything that manages to successfully blend The Doors, The Spice Girls and M.O.P. deserves some mad props in my book.
Hot Chelle Rae – Tonight Tonight
Just Jack – Glory Days
KT Tunstall – Black Horse & The Cherry Tree
Black Eyed Peas – Hey Mama
Spice Girls – Wannabe
M.O.P. – Ante Up
The Doors – Break on Through
Dusty Springfield – Son of a Preacher Man
Nancy Sinatra – These Boots Are Made For Walking
Far East Movement – Rocketeer
DMX – Lord Give Me a Sign
Guildo Horn & Die Orthopädischen Strümpfe – What Shall We Do With a Drunken Sailor
