Mashup Roundup: Lupe Fiasco & The Strokes, Big K.R.I.T. & Passion Pit, Big Boi & Little Dragon

You got to start off any mashup roundup with The Hood Internet, because the guys don’t sleep and put out remixes literally every week. Today they put together an inspired creation of Ludacris, Big K.R.I.T., and Bun B’s ”Country Shit” versus Passion Pit’s ”I’ll Be Alright”.

LehtMoJoe from Dallas combines The Strokes underrated “Machu Picchu” with Lupe Fiasco’s radio cashmaker “The Show Goes On”. It ends with Obama telling a whopper of a lie after Lupe chants repeatedly “Have you ever had the feeling that you were being had?” Only every election day Lupe! Check out some more of LehtMoJoe songs , some real winners that we added to the 2G4R Radio rotation.

This mashup is actually real. Little Dragon’s heroine Yukimi Nagano joined Big Boi on stage thanks to the Vitamin Water geniuses who gave us future power couple Best Coast’s Bethany Cosentino and Kendrick Lamar. They sing “Mama Told Me” off Big Boi’s new album.
