This shit right here is the quintessential example of why mashups exist, two truly profound musicians artfully meshed into something beautiful. In light of Gambino‘s album Camp being released it was sure to draw every underground mashup kid out of the wood work, and here is one of the best ones we have heard. A sick mashup of the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Donald Glover with a title just as crafty as the mix, Bonfire Under The Bridge. My biggest pet peeve with mashups is a lack of respect for timing, with this track I can rest easy there’s not a single place where this classic RHCP song doesn’t work with Gambino’s “Bonfire”. Much props to Vico Ono. If this doesn’t get you well on your way to the middle of the week then there’s no hope for you, enjoy!
