Some notes:

– This was put together by the cash obsessed over at Forbes Magazine. These numbers include “earnings from live shows, endorsements, merchandise sales, recorded music sales, external business ventures and, television. Secondary sources include Songkick, Pollstar, RIAA, promoters, managers, lawyers and some of the artists themselves.”

– Calvin Harris makes more money in a night, $300,000, than most people make in a decade. In fact, Calvin made more money than Jay Z and Katy Perry. More money than Kanye West and Derek Jeter.. combined! How is this possible? Does he have a successful side business selling Molly?

– Who in the actual FUCK would pay Pauly D money to “DJ”? That he makes as much money as producer Diplo is criminal. Seriously, someone needs to be put in jail for this.

2012’s Highest Paid DJs:

1. Tiesto ($22 million)
2. Skrillex ($15 million)
3. Swedish House Mafia ($14 million)
4. David Guetta ($13.5 million)
5. Steve Aoki ($12 million)
6. Deadmau5 ($11.5 million)
7. DJ Pauly D ($11 million)
8. Kaskade ($10 million)
9. Afrojack ($9 million)
10. Avicii ($7 million)

– Most of these DJs experienced huge gains in one year, especially Calvin Harris, but not Skrillex, as he only went up one million.

– Let’s hear some predictions for 2014. I’m going with Zedd, Hardwell, and Knife Party. Humanity will be restored with Pauly D and Steve Aoki falling out of the list.
