It’s hard to say what kind of mystic power Lena Dunham has over the cult following of her HBO original series, Girls. I guess that’s why she took home two Golden Globes last Sunday. One theory I fully support (because it originated from me), is the fact that she has Santigold on her side. The Philly native recently released the song also titled “Girls”, as an exclusive track for the show – and we all know everything she touches turns to (Santi) gold. Now she’s taken it one step further and made a bomb music video celebrating, you guessed it – girls. To the masses: a celebration of women. To the few: an invitation to burn your bras and fckshtup. Order the Girls soundtrack here.
Jennifer is a PR ninja currently working in New York City. Instead of going out and living the life of a 20 year old, she prefers to be at home watching her TV shows, being on Facebook, and frequenting music blogs. She is not talented enough to create music herself, so she prefers to ogle over other people's achievements. Her dream one day is to own a record company, so cheers to that.
