UPDATE: Tame Impala just dropped “Apocalypse Dreams,” their first leak off upcoming anticipated album Lonerism and it’s more wonderful than you can imagine. The six minute roller coaster will remind you of the psych era Beatles. The sound and production is much bigger and decadent than debut album Innerspeaker with its standout tracks “Solitude Is Bliss” and “Runway, Houses, City, Clouds.” My prediction is “Apocalypse Dreams” will be a favorite for remixers and that last minute and a half is perfect for a hip hop artist to spazz on. 6/28/12: In a new video released by Tame Impala, the band showcases previous live and personal footage mixed with some trippy looking graphics to introduce new music from their upcoming album, Lonerism. Looks good, sounds even better. If you’re unfamiliar with the synth happy band, check out the teaser video below.

Tame Impala’s sophomore album is due out later this year.
