Timeflies – The Scotch Tape
If you need a pick me up on the worst day of the week this new mixtape from Timeflies will definitely do the trick. With a mash of electronic/dub house and quick cutting rap lyrics (except for a few tracks) this will get your blood pumping. Enjoy and see below for some background info about Timeflies.
Timeflies is a music duo consisting of Producer/DJ Rob Resnick and vocalist Cal, both 22 years old. Though they got their start in Boston, the guys are originally from New Jersey and New York, respectively. Using elements of pop, hip-hop, electro, dubstep, and rock, Timeflies aims to escape genre limitations. Their goal has always been to make music that people can connect with. The duo has been playing shows at colleges and bars across the country and are currently working on their first album, The Scotch Tape.
Even though save for music purists, not many pay for music these days (not that I’m condoning it), Rob and Cal have decided to charge for this mixtape so you can get it here, otherwise enjoy the streaming.
